CSPM database shutting down due to EDI

My database keeps stopping due to something with EDI. It is version 233i-S31 on an NT server. The actual message in the Event Viewer is "Policy Database is shutting down; EDI is not processing messages". Eventually EDI will come back up and the database will work ok again. I want to know why this is affecting CSPM. I don't have it set up to notify by e-mail or pager for anything. This started about 2 weeks ago. The event ID is 12297 if that's of any help.

Uninstall the CSPM software on the NT server and reinstall the application once again. This often clears up these types of issues. You may also want to purge the database using cvtnrlog. Here's a link about that:
