Cut-Through Proxy

I want to authenticate outgoing tcp connections via the pix. Therefore, I have configured the aaa(-server) related commands.

Everythnig is working fine. The command <show uauth> lists an absolute timeout (default: 5 minutes) and an idle timeout <0:00:00>.

If an user ends a session and restart it again during the next 5 minutes, he will not be asked to authenticate. Is it possible to change those timers?

Thanks in advance

Edgar

Re: Cut-Through Proxy

Edgar, Yes it is possible to change timers on the PIX. Take a look at

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_62/cmdref/tz.htm#xtocid4 for more information and direction on timers.
