Some of my users are accessing web using Dynamic global IP form service provider. I have configure the ADSL router for Dynamic DNS service. Know i need to allow on my PIX firewall 6.0 to allow people coming from myxyz.com domain to . access resources on network. Is this possible? If yes, how do i configure the PIX 6.0 FIREWALL to enable their access.
No the PIX itself is not able to use domainnames in access-list and there is no DynDNS Service on the PIX.
You could use a script or tool that polls the dns name and changes the ACL on the PIX.
For example with except or rancid.
