Decnet over IP/ Phase Ip

I am trying to find out what ports Decnet over IP is using. With a sniffer I have seen port TCP 701 and TCP ports in the 3000 range. What ports need to be opened on the firewall for Decnet over IP to work?

Thanks for any info.

Re: Decnet over IP/ Phase Ip

The only thing I can find on the Internet about this mentions UDP port 700, but there doesn't seem to be any standards that I can tell. It also seems that there a number of different products that'll do this for you, and it doesn't look like they'd all use the same ports and protocols to do it.

Probably what you've done with a Sniffer is your best bet. Another good way is set it all up and then turn on syslogging on the firewall, that'll tell you what connections are opened and what connections are denied, the denied ones can then be allowed thru in your access-list.

Sorry for the lack of information.
