Default Gateway ?

I have a cat 6509 switch configured with vlan80 and vlan253 with default gatway as router80 and router253 respectively but both routers support either of the vlans

The switch is our compnay's link to the inetenet. my question is:

Should the cat switch be the default gaetway to the internet or one of the routers?

The IP of the switch is 10.0.0.4 and is not automatically detected by the CSPM which is in the 253 vlan.

My understanding of your question is the switch is connected directly to the internet, hence you can very well make it the default gateway to the internet.

well, the switch is cat 6509 and is not detected by the cspm. i dont know why.

the switch connects to firewall pix 6.2 which further connects to the internet.
