I would like to know of a way to delete all events in the database using VMS 2.1. I see in the database rules you can us the marked for deletion pl. with other parameters. I just want them all out to start over. Thanks

Re: Deleting all events

You could just run the PruneByAge Perl script, and specify to prune everything older than 1 day.

See http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/cw2000_b/vpnman/vms_2_1/secmon/user_gd/ch07.htm#xtocid5

PruneByAge.pl 1 "syslog,alert,auditlog,deploy,sysconfig"
