Devices Configured for Authentication under ACS

Hi Friends,

Would like to know how many devices can be configured for authentication under ACS version 5.6.0.22  (Cisco Secure Network Server 3415).

I am not able to find the same anywhere.

Regards

JN

Hi,

Hi,

It depends on the license you install on the 5.6 ACS.

All ACS 5.6 deployments supports 100,000 AAA clients, 10,000 network device groups, 300,000 users, and 150,000 hosts. ACS 5.6 log collector server can handle 2 million records per day and 750 messages per second for stress that are sent from various ACS nodes in the deployment to the log collector server.

Please check this link:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_system/5-6/user/guide/acsuserguide/admin_operations.html#pgfId-1066095

With the Base license, a Cisco Secure ACS 5.6 appliance or software virtual machine can support the deployment of up to 500 network access devices (NADs) such as routers and switches. These are not authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) clients. The number of network devices is based on the number of unique IP addresses that are configured. The 500-device limit is not a limit for each individual appliance or instance, but a deployment-wide limit that applies to a set of Cisco Secure ACS instances (primary and secondary instances) that are configured for replication.

The optional Large Deployment add-on license allows a deployment to support more than 500 network devices. Only one Large Deployment license is required per deployment because it is shared by all instances.
