The reason I ask this is I have some devices in a couple of groups, one group is in TEST MODE and the other is not. The rules in the other group are not active ( in the log it appears as TEST MODE). Once I remove the device from the group that is in TEST MODE then the rules are active....
We use Test Mode to work up a "safe" policy set to allow our computers to remain operational. Then, we move them out of Test Mode to let the rules apply and start correcting errors.
As someone in the middle of a deployment right now, I think the best piece of advice I can give is to make sure you test in both Test Mode and Protect Mode. Test Mode SHOULD show you all the events that would be generated, but sometimes query answers will generate OTHER events that you will need to handle.
