DHCP-relay in an IPSec LAN-to-LAN tunnel

Hi!

I have an IPSec LAN-to-LAN tunnel between a VPN 3005 (where the DHCP server is; private interface) and a CS1721 (where dhcp clients are). I can't seem to make those dhcp requests pass trough the IPSec tunnel.

Is there any kind of special configuration that i need.

I tryed putting "ip helper-address x.x.x.x" in the inside CS1721 interface and still doesn't work.

regards

This could be:

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCdu38726&Submit=Search

Note that it's not specific to BRI interfaces, it's the same if the WAN interface gets a negotiated IP address via DHCP or PPPoE. Try upgrading to a fixed version of code and see if that helps (12.3 mainline should be fine for you).

Hi!

I'll try and do an upgrade. I have a ADSL interface doing exactly ip negotiation with the ISP to the Internet.

Hi!

The problem was solved within the LINUX DHCP-SERVER.

Thanks anyway
