DirecWAY and Cisco VPN Client 3.x to Pix

We are in the process right now of piloting users using Hughes DirecWAY and are having intermittent problems with the users being able to connect to the PIX. Sometimes it connects just fine but other times it won't connect at all, but the user's internet access is fine, the just can't connect the VPN.

I have set the MTU down to 1300 (according to Cisco this is the optimal setting), next thing I am going to try is to set it to 1000.

Anybody elese used the Cisco VPN Client over DirecWAY with any success??

I tried this about 6 months ago with the 3.5.2 client and it wouldn't work at all. The user got a usb NIC card from DirectWAY and according to Cisco this was the problem. Cisco blamed the usb NIC card for not following the RFC's. DirectWAY just shrugged. This was in the bug list, but I don't know if it was resolved.
