Disaster Recovery unit

I have a PIX-515UR with 6 ethernet interfaces as my production firewall. I also have a PIX-515R with 3 ethernet interfaces as a backup unit. We copied the config from the production PIX to install on the backup PIX. I had to remove the lines that referred to the interfaces that are not on the backup PIX. I then started with a clean (no config) PIX-515R and copied the config into it. Upon boot up, I got no errors. However, when we plugged in the interfaces, it wouldn't pass any traffic. None of the rules seemed to work. Is there something I missed?

Re: Disaster Recovery unit

it's a bit hard to guess what could go wrong.

you mentioned the 515r has no config. just wondering if you did "wri e" in order to remote the config, and if so, all interfaces will be shutted. verified the interfaces by "sh int".
