do OOB NAC work with non Cisco - but managed smart switches

The following link shows Out-of-Band (OOB) Deployment Switch Support. Will OOB NAC work if I use non cisco managed switchs (or do I have to use all Cisco Switches)?

For what I know is only for Cisco switches. Unless other vendor is on that list I don't believe it's supported. In-band mode should be used with all other switches.

For OOB you have to use Cisco switches.

For IB; however, you can use any switch.
