Duplicate first packet detected! ??

Have a 3005 with a couple of outlying 3002's coming in via DSL and fixed T1's, occasionally I get big spurts of "Duplicate first packet detected!" in large amounts in my log file on the 3005 coming in from one of the T1 links. Anybody see this before?

Thanks...

I guess you are aware of the fact, that the tunnel initiater waits to get a reply from the 3005. If no reply is returned before a certain time limit expires the tunnel initiator will give it another try.

Do you have any reports that a tunnel does not eventually come up?

Thanks.. after much troubleshooting and headaches it turned out the telco(to renamed unnamed!!) had assigned the same IP block to a few different customers, causing quite a bit of erratic behavior..

What you're seeing is normally one of the symptoms of a routing error on the ISP's part. That would correspond to the telco assigning the same IP block to multiple customers.
