Easy Question - Failover

If I want to do Active/Standby Failover for ASA5520's, do I setup both firewalls identically or just one of them?

How does that work?

Re: Easy Question - Failover

The failover unit should synchrnize it's configuration with the primary unit. No need to redo you configuration on both at the same time. Once you configure the failover IP addresses and the failover unit with the IP addresses on the interfaces any change done on the primary ASA will be synchronized on the failover.

Let me know if this helps,
