i am not a good Pix user, i need to create a new Network on a same physical interface, according to me i need to move my physical configuration to a virtual and let the physical with no ip address, i'm looking for the easisest way to do it without loosing ACL's, nameif and ip scheme.
You can either copy your existing config after doing a show run or you can use a tftp server and save your config that way. TFTP is my personal preference that way you get all your isakmp keys saved.
write net x.x.x.x:/pix.cfg
replace the x's with your tftp server and that will get it saved. Now you'll have to start the process of reconfiguring your pix. Being that I have not done a transparent configuration and may just have to convert my test pix to one I can't really help you from there.
