Eigrp on IPSEC on Serail interface

I have router1 connected to router 2 through service provider , in both the routers loopback ip address have been provided from the servive provider, the link between the two routers are not connected directly , i.e it goes through a service provider.

IPSEC comes up when ever intresting traffic goes out of the serial interface , now i need to run eigrp routing protocol between the routers , since i dont have gre tunnel , pls suggest how do i run eigrp between the two routers.

Anybody who can help me out on this.

The standard answer is run IPSec on a GRE tunnel, then run eigrp over the gre tunnel as well.

If you want to run standard IPSec tunnels, you will need to something like BGP multihop betwnn the IPSec routers and redistribute, and be very careful to ensure that your crypto acl's will cover all the source/destination combinations of traffic that will traverse the tunnel.

In a nutshell, use GRE
