I am looking for a way to configure data circuit failover on my WAN. At my data centers, I have Cisco VPN3005s and ASA5520s terminating my site-to-site VPN tunnels. In the field, I have Cisco 831 and 871 routers terminating my tunnels. I also have some remaining Cisco 1700 series frame-relay routers. For locations that have multiple circuits (2 broadband circuits or 1 broadband and 1 frame circuit) I would like to configure failover of the data circuits. From reading various postings, I need to be able to pass EIGRP traffic. How can my tunnels be configured to pass EIGRP using my existing hardware?
