I have similar problem for 6 months, which is still unsolved. Users are having problems w Outlook-Exchange via SSL VPN (3005 concentrator). Ping, remote desktop, windows' network drives to the same exchange server, all work w/o problems, except Outlook. However, this only affect a few users, not all.
one specific user/pc is able to work 1 day, but not the next; from the same remote site.
Suspected earlier is due to
-timeout; has been set to disable, didnt help
-MTU; however there is no option to change in a SSL VPN client.

Had a similiar issue a month ago and I found a link in this forum (can't find it now) where someone installed the IPSec client unconfigured and it corrected the SSL VPN issue. We tried it and it worked at the customer site. Cisco TAC had us go through registry hacks to try and mimic what the IPSec client changes, but it was inconsistent. Try installing the IPSec client on the systems having issues.
