Enabling WebVPN on the Outside Interface

Hello,

I am just beginning to configure our ASA 5520 for WebVPN access.

In the documention id: 70037 I have a question on configuring the outside interface.

I see a warning about using the same interface for WebVPN and ASDM. When I look at the ASDM interface it is setup for port 443. Do I need to change this? If so, to what? Port 8080? And then set WebVPN to port 443 or can they both use port 443?

Please advise, any suggestions or advice is greatly welcome.

You can make ASDM use a different port with the command "http server enable " I am not sure if you can change the webvpn port.

You can change the WebVPN to use a different port but I had problems with remote users and DNS. If you want to change the port for WebVPN enter the following commands:

webvpn

port xxxx
