Encrypting a site-to-site direct leaseline connection

Hi,

I wld like to know how i can configure the above with 3DES encryption, can't seem to find a sample on the web.

Hi Robin

This is a very open question. presuming you're using cisco products, all concentrators(gui based in design but cli too) support 3des as do most routers/firewalls. A good starting point giving links to VPN enabled products is-

from there, each solution has given examples

Sorry, perhaps, i didn't make it clear, i'm refering to configuration of the 2 connecting routers that can support 3DES.

Hi,

You can use 3DES in the isakmp policy and transform set instead of DES.
