equinux vs 1841

Hi all,

i've found a strange problem with equinux vpn software and new 1841 adsl router.

When i use the old 837 adsl router the software works fine and vpn goes up and running. If i change the 837 with 1841 ( with on board 2 wic-adsl + ppp multilink ) equinux can't establish vpn.

Equinux works on ipsec standard.

In the router config i set extra configuration for ppp multilink mrru and nat ipsec.

Some one can help me?

Are you seeing any logs in your 1841 router inline with the RAVPN connections ?

you can very well find out the reason behind the failures during the connection tries using those logs (whether something to do with the encryption,hash or any mismatch in Group config)

Probably i didn't explain well the problem:

the router is used only as a broadband router and not as a vpn termination.

Equinux contact a third part firewall to establish a vpn connection, so the router only nat the client.

Now equinux establish the vpn but traffic didn't transit inside the tunnel.

Can you revert back with the type of VPN client which you are using up here to establish the vpn connection on the equinx box ?
