Error when updating PIX-what does this mean?

It looks like you have a global statement that conflicts with a static statement.

More specifically, your Static is inside your Global range, ie: Global using .20-.254, if you use a Static of .30, you would have the error above, a .19 would not (outside Global range). Use a smaller range in your Global, and make sure your Statics are outside that range.

with pat, each public ip will provide 64,000 connections. unless you've got a huge volume of traffic heading out the network, otherwise you don't really need to have multiple public ip for pat.

if that's the case, then the static nat will no longer conflict with the global range
