Where are the alarms kept in a file on the CSPM on NT? What is the default action when CSPM reched the maximum allowed alarms on a grid? Does it archive all alarms automatically?

the alarms in CPSM are kept in the CSPM database.
they are not kept in a flat file that you can view.
To extract the alarms into a flat file, run the program cvtnrlog.exe in the bin directory under where cspm is installed. To save the alarms to a file, run the command as
cvtnrlog > alarms.txt
and then look at the alarms.txt file
run
cvtnrlog -help for more info. (you can use the -d switch to delete the alarms from the database.)
The cspm can hold many thousand alarms in the grid as far as I know, but there is a limit, basically, its the size of the cspm databse..
