Extracting Management report from event viewer logs

Does anyone know how to generate a management style report (ie. basically show the event viewer table view) as an Excell spreadheet for instance?

There are some utilities on the internet that can do that. Try "Event Log View 2.5" from any download site as an example.

This question may best be suited for MS site instead of posting it in here.

What you may want to do is run the "cvtnrlog" command. This is a command line utility, that in a default install, would be found at "/Program Files/Cisco Systems/Cisco Secure Policy Manager/Post Office/bin".

Run this command with the "-a" switch and pipe it to a file.

I.e., "cvtnrlog -a>20020612.log"

This will create a comma delimited file that you can read with Excel.

Thanks.
