Filtering based on Microsoft Domain User Account

Hi all!

We'd like to impement our internet gateway with a Cisco device. Our network is a pure Microsoft Domain solution with only Microsoft clients. Is there any CISCO solution for filtering the internet traffic based on Domain User Accounts such way that only one-time windows logon was needed? We do not want to use the Microsoft ISA server.

Bye!

Re: Filtering based on Microsoft Domain User Account

I am not sure that I will be able to answer your query directly. However I know of a Cisco solution that might be of help. One solution allowing a high degree of filtering is the CBAC or 'context based access control'. CBAC does TCP and UDP packet filtering based on the application-layer protocol session information. CBAC can be configured to permit specified TCP and UDP traffic through a firewall. Further, CBAC can be used for intranet, extranet, and Internet perimeters of your network.
