Probably you did something wrong ...

What did you exactly do (both on FP and on FS) and what are the error messages?

i got the below message ;

"Could not establish a connection with sensor. Make sure the registration keys match, that the software versions are compatible, and that the network is not blocking the connection."

I have firesight ;

Software Version 5.4.0 (build 763)
OS Sourcefire Linux OS 5.4.0 (build126)

and firepower

Sourcefire Linux OS v5.4.0 (build 127)
Sourcefire ASA5512 v5.4.0 (build 764)

I would first update FireSight to the newest 5.4.x pactchlevel.

Is the output of "show managers" on FP matching your setup?

on firepower

 show managers
Host                      : 10.203.5.122
Registration Key          : cisco
Registration              : pending
RPC Status                :

on firesight

same on firesight

i tried to update but at 19% it failed. please help in this regard.

How long did you wait? And how did it fail exactly?

it took around 9 to 12 min to reach 19%, retry few time and then got the message of failed.

Hi

I have the same problem when I try to add ASA5506 Firepower to FSM Virtual Appliance on version 6.0.0 (build 1005)

I tried with the version FSM 5.4.0 when I try to patch any version 5.4.1 or 5.4.1.3 it's fails in 7%

Any idea to resolve this problem? I reimage twice my ASA but no way

Thanks

regards
