Forwarding domain creditials to a Windows DC using PPTP on a PIX 501

Using a pix 501, we are trying to create a VPN group of users that when connecting to the VPN are automatically logged into a windows domain and given a mapped drive.

Are there any settings on the firewall to forward domain logins to a domain controller?

We have configured a domain controller and selected the "include windows domain" checkbox on my pptp screen but this is going nowhere.

We are using the pre windows 2000 domain name (CRITALLINFOSTOR) the actual domain name is criticallinfostore.com (which is just a bogus name)

We get an error "Error connecting to HHSC 691" (invalid username and/or password on the domain)

Do you think this is a firewall issue. I do not have a DNS entry for this domain.

WE have configured a username password combination on the windows machine that is

identical to the firewall username/password. We know this is bogus but we try to understand the authentication to the firewall / authentication to windows relationship.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
