ftp in dmz

who can give me a link for FTP server in the DMZ? I put static (dmz1,att) command in the PIX 515, but it's not working.

do you allow the ftp access to the ftp server at the dmz?

Yes, I have two lines in the config

access-list aclout permit tcp any host 12.146.133.140 eq ftp

static (dmz1,att) 12.146.133.140 11.1.0.16 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0

but cannot access ftp server from outside.

try:

conduit permit tcp host 12.146.133.140 eq ftp any

Ben, I just tested your ftp, it should work:

ftp> open 12.146.133.140

Connected to 12.146.133.140.

220 ftp FTP server (UNIX(r) System V Release 4.0) ready.

User (12.146.133.140:(none)):

Thanks. someone install security software on the ftp server and block ftp and more in the salaris. After remove, it's fine now. it's not PIX problem.
