FTP problems with LAN-to-LAN IPSec

I am trying to bring up an private LAN-to-LAN IPSec tunnel, throught Internet, between two 827H routers.

Everything seems to be ok., I get pings between PCs of the two private LANs. Even, I can begin an ftp session between a server an a client in different LANs, but when I type the 'mget' command the file transfer does not start, an the connection ends after a timeout. Something similar happens with PCANYWHERE sessions.

I have no idea about what could happen.

Can somebody help me, please.

Does the application just get "slower" until it just times out? Try reducing the MTU to 1400.

You were right, everything is ok now.

Thank you very much.
