Hello,
I have a 6506 with the FWSM and I want to upgrade them both to the latest revisions of code as possible. The 6506 is Version 12.1(20)E3, and the FWSM Firewall Version 1.1(2).
I know these are outdated, and being fairly new to the situation, I want to make sure I am following the recommended procedures to get to the latest safe revisions.
So, how to proceed?
TIA,
Jim

Hi
Do find the new initiative from Cisco which is named as Safe Harbor Testing..
hope this link helps you to find out the recommended OS version for both your 6500 and the FWSM..

Yes, this helps with the versions. Now, what is the recommended procedure for the actual upgrade?
TIA.
