GRE over PPPoE ADSL connection

I have a 1710 router (with a external ADSL modem) and with the correct software (IP/IPX). Is it possible to make a IPX connection over ADSL (using GRE I persume). And I have a unconfigured 2621 VPN router in HQ.

1710 <---> ADSL (internet) <-----> firewall <----> 2621

Because my knowledge about GRE is very little , are there any good suggestion how to configure both devices.

PIX does not support GRE tunnel.

But you can build up a router to router GRE tunnel , or GRE tunnel with IPSEC.

Here is the sample config:

If there is a PIX firewall in the middle, here is another config can be used.

If you do not want IPSEC encryption, just remove the crypto map and isakmp part from the config, it should be working fine.
