Gre tunnel through PIX

I need to set up a GRE tunnel through the PIX. It should be pretty easy, but I am having problems. Does anybody have documentation they can post?? Thanks in advance.

Re: Gre tunnel through PIX

Here are some examples:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_configuration_example09186a00800943fe.shtml#configpix

and

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_configuration_example09186a0080094a5a.shtml

Remember that GRE is a protocol (number 47), not a port, so your access-list must reflect that (eg access-list 101 permit gre ....).

If it doesn't help, can you post your relevant pix config, and explain what is happening. Do a show log, and look for denies. Show xlate and show conn are also useful for troubleshooting.

Hope it helps.

Steve
