GRE tunneling for Frame Relay networks over IP backbone - reg

Intend to connect two Frame Relay networks through IP backbone via GRE tunneling. Please let me know the pros and cons.

2) Is it necessary to setup a point-point Frame relay circuit for the above?

I read somewhere that IPSec with GRE is supported over a frame relay network. There was no mention of any exceptions. It is thus that I think that GRE must be supported over all frame relay networks. However if you end up discovering differently, please do consider sharing that with us through this forum. As far as the advantages/disadvantages go, well do take a look at bug CSCea00475.
