Hello,

Can any of you guys explain how are "group radius" differ from radius.

What significant role does "group radius" play over "radius" in AAA server configuration. I have been through following URL but does not provide the information needed.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1830/products_feature_guide09186a0080087a05.html

Does "aaa authorization network default group radius" work without

"aaa group server radius group-name",

prvoided if I configured with

"radius-server host x.x.x.x auth-port 1645 acct-port 1646 key rad-key"

Regds,

Dinesh

Yes, the aaa authorzation command you have included will work without the aaa group command.

You can use aaa group command when you need to define multiple groups with different server to apply to different method lists.

Hope this helps,

Nairi
