hash sha in the 1720 vpn route

Hi

I have 1720 route with ver 12.1(5). when config

crypto isakmp policy, if use hash md5, it's fine.

if use hash sha, after wr m, show config, hash sha

is not in the config file. I check command, 1720 route 12.1(5) supports hash sha. what's problem for 1720 route?

thanks

ben

Re: hash sha in the 1720 vpn route

SHA is the default hash for IOS ISAKMP. The fact that it doesn't show up when you look at the config may just be a cosmetic "feature" (read: bug) of that image. You can make sure SHA is indeed configured by typing 'show crypto isakmp policy' from exec mode.
