How can i stop RealOnePlayer going to the Internet

Hope someone can help me with this.

I have PIX 515 with ver 3.3. My users use RealOnePlayer or Media Player that they mainly use to listen music with their CDs.

Now, i would like them to keep using the RealOnePlayer but disable the RealOnePlayer/Media Player going and downloading music from the Internet.

I googled on this and came accross an article http://nucleus.cshl.edu/leadingstrand/help/FAMhelp.htm that mentions shutting down Port 554, 7070 and port range 6970-7170.

After closing the mentioned port, RealOnePort still accesses the Internet.

Is there anything i am doing wrong? or missing

I would appreciate if someone can assist me on this.

Many Thanks

As per the info I have, real player uses the follwing ports:

TCP port 7070 for connecting to pre-G2 RealServers

TCP port 554 and 7070 for connecting to G2 RealServers

UDP ports 6970 - 7170 (inclusive) for incoming traffic only

If blocking them is not working, it is possibble that the applicationis designed to negotiate on other ports if attempts to connect on standard ports fail. If that is heppening, the only real option you have is to use a proxy server than can block specific content.
