How do I built my own ISP complete system?

I need to know the components involved,

and the kind of cost and people to hire

to help me. I do not want to subscribe

to any existing ISP. Thank you in advance.

Since there has been no response to your post, it appears to be either too complex or too rare an issue for other forum members to assist you. If you don't get a suitable response to your post, you may wish to review our resources at the online http://www.cisco.com/go/solutions. You may also contact our product information line at 1-800-553-NETS or a Cisco Systems Engineer at your local Cisco office or reseller. To locate your local Cisco representative, visit http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/687/Directory.shtml

If anyone else in the forum has some advice, please reply to this thread.

Thank you for posting.

Re: How do I built my own ISP complete system?

Are you going into business as an ISP? If not, you may be on the wrong track here... consider that ISPs "subscribe" to one another. This is how the Internet works, some ISPs have bi-lateral peering arrangements with their peers, some are "pay for packets" access. If you're planning on transiting traffic, you could call yourself an ISP. Feel free to drop me a line if you'd like to explore this further. shaun.skillin@inetexperts.net
