how do I enable PXE boot and RIS (Microsoft RIS server) over Vlans

PXE boot and RIS access is fine if I am on the same vlan. If the workstation and the RIS server are on different VLANS the workstation does not receive an IP address from the DHCP server. 6506 is the DHCP server.

thanks

The RIS Server is found through DHCP. You should have one DHCP for all VLAN scopes. You would also need to configure a ip helper address on the device that is routing between the VLANS so the DHCP broadcast are forwarded to the correct DHCP Server.
