How do I upgrade signatures from VMS 2.2

I need to know how can I upgrade my sensors using my solaris vms software. The last time I did this it hosed my IDSM2 blade.

From my understanding you download the signature update the "zip" file from Cisco then apply it to your VMS software. What are the next steps? Thanks in advance...

Download the latest sig update zip file from here:

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/mgmt-ctr-ids

Then follow the instructions here:

Very basically though, copy the zip file to ~/CSCOpx/mdc/etc/ids/updates on the VMS server. Then follow step 6 onwards from the link above.
