How do you create VPN between 2 Cisco 801s?

Certainly not with cisco configmaker 2.5.

I have tried and failed it creates the pretty diagram each router set to connect to the internet via ISDN and then the added VPN link connects the two routers but when the configs are delivered ,they dont work.

I am very new to Cisco but from what Ive seen ,their should be a tunnel interface created in the config, but this is not mentioned in the config created by config maker.

Can anybody offer a config for this setup?

I am trying to connect two private networks via a vpn over the public network. I have static public Ip addresses for each of the routers.

I have firewall and IPsec on the routers.

Have I missed anything I need

Thanks for any suggestions

Chris

Re: How do you create VPN between 2 Cisco 801s?

Are you sure you have an ipsec IOS feature set loaded on your routers? You can use IOS planner on Cisco’s site to choose the latest version http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Software/Iosplanner/Planner-tool/iosplanner.cgi? If you are sure you’re running that feature set, use the manual router configs at http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/Support/PSP/psp_view.pl?p=Internetworking:IPSec&s=Implementation_and_Configuration#Samples_%26_Tips
