How I can save group and user password in VPN3002 when connecting to Router

Hi All,

It seems that after 4.1 version of 3002 Hardware client, the group and user password can no longer save in the 3002. And in my network environment, the remote branch office is using 3002 and it will power-off during non-office hour. After power on again it can no longer automatically connect to main office's Cisco 2811 router via VPN tunnel. So does this have any solution? Thanks!

(I regret to said that I have start a conversation for this case on another wrong location so I re-start on here. Sorry for my mistake)

Jason

Jason,

Jason,

Yes, you are correct. The feature was introduced in 4.1 version called "VPN 3002 Password Storage Enhancement".

My understanding is you can enable "Allow Password" feature on VPN3000, Pix (7.0 and higher) and routers( 12.3(2)T and higher). So, if you configure the 2811 to save-password, it should help.
