How many IPSEC Tunnels ?

Hi

I currently have Pix 525 in HA environment. I m currenlty running 22 site to site IPSEC Tunnels, Can some one please suggest, I currently I have unlimited licenses of the IKE Peers, but i want to make sure so that i dont overkill the PIX before i add any new tunnels.,

Here is the sho ver of my PIX

With 6.2.2 and Hardware: PIX-525, 256 MB RAM, CPU Pentium III 600 MHz

Flash E28F128J3 @ 0x300, 16MB

BIOS Flash AM29F400B @ 0xfffd8000, 32KB

i guess 525 can handle much much more than that.

according to cisco doc:

168-bit 3DES IPSec VPN throughput: Up to 145 Mbps with VAC+ or 72 Mbps with VAC

128-bit AES IPSec VPN throughput: Up to 135 Mbps with VAC+

256-bit AES IPSec VPN throughput: Up to 135 Mbps with VAC+

Simultaneous VPN tunnels: 2000
