Hi thanks for your quick reponse, btw do you have any idea how the oracle client works with Oracle server through PIX Firewall? I mean the client first will connect using the port 1521 but the server reponse to the port other than 1521 is it PIX good enough to handle the dynamic port assinged by the ORacle server?
Please give me clue.
THanks in advance

Hi HATO,
Sorry for the delay in replying back. Was out of the town. Ok let me explain the how fixup will work with SQLnet port. When client connect to Oracle server on 1521, PIX will perform NAT in the packet payload and will dynamically open TCP ports for SQLNET redirected client connections. So PIX is good enough to handle the dynamic port client redirection of ORACLE.
