Hello,
Is there a way we can block Skype in PIX. I know that we can block skype in Checkpoint ,but dont know how to block skype in PIX. I checked the way skype works and each time the IP it connects seems to be different and it uses port 443 and 80. So is there we can block this.Is there any thing unqiue by which we can block or do packet inspection and block in PIX.

Can you elaborate on how to do this using application inspection or point to a reference document.

Dear all
As skype use the port 443 and 80 and you cannot block this port the best way is to install a third party software for URL filtering like websense or other, for websense you can block many peer-to-peer software like emule ...ect
