how to config pix 7.0 to permit pptp connection through pix

i have pix 7.0 .there are pptp server and pptp client on the two side of pix

.i know pix 7.0 doesn't support pptp.but if it's also can't let pptp throughtout? how to config pix 7.0 to permit pptp connection through pix.

Hi,

Just configure your firewall to permit tcp/1723. That will allow PPTP through.

if the client is making a pptp conection from inside to the outside, place a permit gre statement in the ouitside interface acl to allow the connection to establish.

Hi,

If the ACls dont fix the issue, try this.

policy-map global_policy

class inspection_default

inspect pptp

service-policy global_policy global

This is eqalent to the old 'Fixup protocol PPTP'
