How to configure on CSPM 2.3.3 and IDS4235 with GE

Dear all,

We are using IDS 4235 with Gigabit Etherner and CSPM 2.3.3 but on CSPM we can't find packet device for Gigabit, the only packet devices we found are iprb,spwr0,auto,mtok,mtok36 and ptpci0. We can do snoop the packet with e1000g not with iprb,spwr etc.

The connection between sensor and cspm already establised.

Hi,

You should be able to manually enter the interface name into the Packet Capture Device box in CSPM 2.3.3i. In other words, you are not limited to the options listed in this entry area. CSPM was released prior to the IDS-4235 so the new interfaces will not be reflected. Leaving this box as 'auto' or manually entering '/dev/e1000g0' should work just fine.
