How to get to Exchange 2000

Hi. I am a PIX newbie. Our last guy left unexpectedly and I am the new router and firewall person :). I have just brought up an Exchange 2000 server and would like to open up the firewall to allow access to Outlook Web Access. I can't find any specific documents on how to do this? I am pretty sure it involves "static" and "conduit" statements in my config but am not sure and don't want to screw things up too badly. I don't necessarily need someone here to tell me how to do it, although I would appreciate that :>. If you can point me to any resources that can help that would be just as great!

Thanks in advance.

Do you have SSL enabled for OWA?

Have you run the IIS lockdown tool on the OWA server?

Are you certain all of your patches are up to date?

That is what needs to be done to prepare the server for opening the port.

Opening the port depends on your configuration, conduits are the old but still supported method of opening a port, access control lists are the current and future method - both require statics to have been created.

You can post your config if you'd like, or email it to me. You will want to remove any password lines.
