how-to: pix 501 with dynamic ip to sonicwall

We have a pix 501 we're trying to use to vpn to our sonicwall. We've set up IKE with a shared secret & it works if we identify an IP Address for the pix on the Sonicwall.

However, this won't work in the real world since the pix will be getting it's address from dhcp. If we enter 0.0.0.0 as the address for the pix on the sonicwall, which is supposed to indicate that the pix will be coming in on a dynamic IP, we can't get it to work.

Anyone gotten this to work before that can point me in the right direction? TIA

Try using a Pre-Shared Key and configure as you would for a 1.1 Client.

The tunnel will need to be initiated by the SonicWALL in order for this to work.
