I am having very strange problems. Just set up a second VPN3000 in Brazil. The user there log in through VPN, can ping DNS and WINS names, and resolve correclty, but they can not map a drive using "net use." I was using SDI, but moved to NT Authentication to cut out parts the would confuse things. Also, I am not using split tunnelling and all firewall features are turned off.

Any clue?

Tom

Hi,

mapping network drive may require you to log on to the domain itself, try using the start before logon feature, and logon to the domain first, and then try mapping network drive.

Thx

Afaq

Afaq,

thanks for the info, however, this did not help. I now have more information.

1. I tryed from my machine from the US, everything work fine.

2. When my tech tries from in country, he can get to win2k servers, not NT4 server.

3. When finding differences, I have English version of XP he has Portugese Version.

Thats everything I can find on it.

Any thoughts?

Tom
