as alias won't work with PAT, is there an way to make the pix to just use NAT, the pix use the same adress as the pix for it's "pool"

If you're only using one address (i.e. the PIX's outside interface) for your pool, then by definition, you are using PAT, not NAT.
The following example enables PAT using the IP address at the outside interface in global configuration mode:
ip address outside 192.150.49.1
nat (inside) 1 0 0
global (outside) 1 interface

Ah, so is there an way to make alias work with PAT or is it imposible? It seamd to work with pix 6.01 but that version is realy buggy so I had to downgrade tp 5.31
